CEREC 1 Visit Smiles in Enniskillen

Smile With CEREC one-visit dentistry at Belmore Dental Implant and Facial Aesthetics Clinic

In today's fast-paced ever-changing world, few of us have spare time to visit the dentist for multiple appointments to receive dental treatment. At the same time, sitting for hours in the dental chair is also not what any of us envision as a good time.

At Belmore Dental we understand how important it is to our patients to be able to complete their treatment in as few visits as possible, especially with many travelling quite a distance to visit us. Thankfully, we are now able to offer CEREC restorations, meaning we can restore damaged teeth by creating beautiful crowns, veneers, inlays and Onlays, in one single visit!

One visit restorations – How does it work?

Here we were thinking we could create something across the screen like the Invisalign golden circle sliders, like 4 steps to new restorations or something?

  1. Your dentist will start by preparing your tooth for restoration using a small drill.
  2. Our Cerec Omnicam scanner is then used to create an image of your teeth which is uploaded to our design unit, from this, a 3D model of your new tooth is designed.
  3. This model is then used by our separate milling machine to create your new tooth from a block of high-quality ceramic that is perfectly matched to the shade of your surrounding teeth.
  4. Once this is complete your new tooth will be fitted and fixed into place before you leave.

Benefits of CEREC

  • Your dentist has complete control over the design, guaranteeing highly aesthetic, durable, protective and realistic tooth-coloured porcelain restorations.
